### Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

**Accommodation**: Kathmandu guest house or similar (3*)

### Day 2: Helicopter Flight to Lukla & Trek to Phakding

After an early morning helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, we meet our trekking crew and begin our first day on the trail. The route follows the Dudh Koshi River and passes through small Sherpa settlements, suspension bridges and beautiful mountain scenery. The trail is relatively gentle and serves as a good introduction to the trek. We reach Phakding after approximately 3–4 hours of trekking and spend the evening relaxing at the lodge.

**Accommodation**: Namaste Lodge or similar

### Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar

Today we continue along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and passing through traditional Sherpa villages. At Monjo, we enter Sagarmatha National Park. The trail gradually becomes steeper as we make our way towards Namche Bazaar. After crossing the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge, we begin the final uphill section. If weather conditions are clear, we may get our first glimpses of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and other Himalayan peaks. We arrive in Namche Bazaar and settle into our lodge for the night.

**Accommodation**: AD Friendship Lodge or similar

### Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar

Today is an important acclimatization day. Rather than remaining completely inactive, we take a short hike around Namche to help the body adjust to the increasing altitude. Depending on the group's energy levels and weather conditions, we can hike towards the Everest View Hotel, which offers spectacular views of Everest, Ama Dablam and other surrounding peaks. There is also the option to explore Khumjung and Khunde. We return to Namche for another night.

**Accommodation**: AD Friendship Lodge or similar

### Day 5: Trek to Tengboche

The trail leaves Namche and follows a scenic route overlooking the Dudh Koshi valley. We trek through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests, with spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. After passing through Sanasa, the trail descends towards the river before the final climb to Tengboche. Tengboche is home to the famous Tengboche Monastery and provides one of the most beautiful Himalayan settings on the trek.

**Accommodation**: Tashi Delek or Similar

### Day 6: Trek to Dingboche

We descend through the forest and cross the Dudh Koshi before continuing towards Pangboche, one of the highest permanent settlements in the region. The trail gradually climbs higher as we enter the Imja Valley. With Ama Dablam towering above us, we continue towards Dingboche, a picturesque village surrounded by stone-walled agricultural fields. As we gain altitude, the landscape becomes increasingly rugged and dramatic.

**Accommodation**: Chomolungma Resort or similar

### Day 7: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche

Another important acclimatization day allows us to adjust to the higher altitude before continuing towards Everest Base Camp. We can take a gradual hike around Dingboche and enjoy magnificent views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Makalu, Baruntse and surrounding peaks.
The emphasis today is on acclimatization rather than covering a long distance.

**Accommodation**: Chomolungma Resort or Similar

### Day 8: Trek to Lobuche

We continue our gradual ascent towards Lobuche. The trail takes us through Duglha and along the rugged terrain of the Khumbu Glacier. Along the way, we pass memorials dedicated to climbers and Sherpas who lost their lives on Himalayan expeditions. As we approach Lobuche, vegetation becomes increasingly sparse and the landscape takes on a dramatic high-altitude character.

**Accommodation**: Himalayan Eco Resort or Similar

### Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp & Return to Gorakshep

Today is the highlight of the trek. We make an early start from Lobuche towards Gorakshep and then continue towards Everest Base Camp. The trail follows the Khumbu Glacier and takes us through rugged glacial terrain. After reaching Everest Base Camp at approximately 5,364m, we spend some time taking in the incredible surroundings and celebrating this achievement. We then retrace our route back to Gorakshep for the night. This is one of the longest and most physically demanding days of the trek, particularly because of the altitude.

**Accommodation**: Buddha Lodge or Similar

### Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar & Helicopter Return to Kathmandu

We wake early for one of the most spectacular experiences of the trek the hike to Kala Patthar.
At 5,545m, Kala Patthar is one of the best viewpoints for panoramic views of Mount Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Lhotse and the surrounding Himalayan range. After spending time at the viewpoint, we descend towards Gorakshep, where we board our helicopter for the return journey to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, we transfer to the hotel and have time to rest and recover.

**Accommodation**: Kathmandu Guest House, Thamel or similar

### Day 11: Contingency / Free Day in Kathmandu

This day has been kept as a contingency day, which is particularly useful for an Everest Base Camp itinerary because mountain weather can sometimes affect helicopter operations and trekking schedules. If everything has gone according to plan, the day becomes a free day in Kathmandu. You can relax at the hotel, explore Thamel, shop for souvenirs or simply enjoy some well-earned rest after the trek.

**Accommodation**: Kathmandu guest house or similar

### Day 12: Trip Concludes

A free day in Kathmandu to explore and recover from the trek. This day can also be used as a contingency incase of any possible delays due to bad weather etc. and get organized before leaving for the trek.
