# Explore Amsterdam & Belgium

## Overview

Netherlands! Tradition and innovation intertwine here: artistic masterpieces, centuries-old windmills, tulip fields and romantic candlelit cafés coexist with visionary architecture, cutting-edge design and phenomenal nightlife. In a country that gave birth to celebrated Dutch Masters like Rembrandt, Vermeer, Van Gogh and Piet Mondrian, the art legacy is huge. With fabulously pancake-flat, scenic landscapes beckoning along every last dyke, canal, river and coastal shore, two-wheeling in the Netherlands is one of Dutch life's greatest pleasures. And geography plays a key role in the Netherlands' iconic landscapes.

Belgium is historic yet hip! Bruges canals, Ghent’s medieval architecture, Antwerp fashion, decadent chocolate, mussels and chips, belfries and castles, crazy carnivals, Tintin and Trappist beers…how could anyone call Belgium boring?! Belgium’s biggest draws are its medieval town cores, home to a bounty of UNESCO sites and many a delightful cafe-bar serving some of the planet's finest beers.
