Upon arrival, drive towards Sasan Gir (approx 4.5 hrs), the only Asiatic lion sanctuary in the world. Enroute stop at Junagarh, visit Girnar mountain (Ambika Mata Temple) through cable car. It is Asia's second longest ropeway. Mount Girnar has garnered attention from tourists worldwide because of the presence of the Dattatreya Shrine, the Amba Temple and several Jain temples lining the foothills. Post Lunch (at own expense), continue your drive to Gir and check-in to the Resort & relax. Early morning (before breakfast) get ready for the Lion safari in the Lion reserve. Gir National Park consists of a mixed deciduous forest interspersed with semi-evergreen and evergreen trees, scrub jungle, large patches of grasslands and rocky hills. It is the largest dry deciduous forest in Western India. On return , have breakfast and enjoy leisure time and enjoy lunch (at own expense). In evening, we will head for evening Gypsy Safari. If you are lucky enough, you may see Asiatic Lion, leopards, and many other wild animals, birds & rich flora and fauna. Return to the resort. Dinner & overnight stay at Gir. **Accommodation**: Araiya Gir A Mavintara Resort (4*) or similar ### Day 3: Excursion to Somnath Wake up early morning and get ready to, transfer to Somnath (93 km / 2 hr). Somnath is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus and is believed to be first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. On arrival visit to Bhalka Tirth, Geeta Mandir, Triveni Sangam and Pandav Caves. Later have lunch (at own expense) and then proceed to Somnath temple and get a chance to see the Aarti in Somnath temple and enjoy laser show. The Light & Sound Show of Somnath Temple depicts its historical, religious and cultural importance. It represents the ups and down of Hindu religion in the history. The city's name literally means the “gateway to heaven” in Sanskrit, as Dwar means “gate” and ka references “Brahma” . On the way, visit Porbandar sightseeing Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple. Porbandar is a coastal city in the state of Gujarat, best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. The coastal city is also believed to be the birthplace of Sudama, Lord Krishna's friend and devotee. Then depart for Dwarka and visit to Dwarkadhish temple, Gomti Ghat. Later transfer to the hotel and check in. Dinner & overnight stay in Dwarka. **Accommodation**: The Fern Sativa Resort, Dwarka (4*) or similar ### Day 5: Bet Dwarka Today early morning after breakfast we depart for Bet Dwarka (2hrs approx.), Bet Dwarka is considered to be part of the ancient city of Dwarka. In Indian epic literature such as the Mahabharata and the Skanda Purana, this city is the abode of Krishna. Enroute to Bet Dwarka, we visit Nageshwar Jyotirling. Sometimes known as Nagnath Temple, the main deity here is Lord Shiva, also known as Nageshwar Mahadev. According to the Shiva Purana, those who pray at the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga become free from all poisons, snake bites and worldly attractions. Also visit Rukmani temple and Gopi Talav. Return back to dwarka after lunch (at own expense) and rest. In the evening visit Shivrajpur beach.
