## Detailed Itinerary

### Day 1: Welcome to Canada

Arrive in Vancouver, British Columbia and transfer to the Pier (on your own). Important to reach the Pier by 02:30 PM. Among the world's most liveable cities - diverse, cultural, beautiful - this culinary capital treats you to fresh local seafood, farm-to-table produce, and authentic Asian flavors. West Coast architecture - modernism with a woodsy bent - emerged here. But while downtown shines with steel and glass, its epicenter is green Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre oasis of spectacular beaches, trails, and views. On your way, behold lofty Shannon Falls and brave the heart-pounding Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge. The ship will depart at 05:00 PM.

**Accommodation**: Celebrity Summit Ship

### Day 2: Inside Passage (Cruising)

Sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage in southeastern Alaska. This complex labyrinth of fjords, bays, and lush green islands is home to an abundance of wildlife, including orca, mountain goats, bald eagles, bears, puffins, sea otters and much more. During the summer months, the long hours of daylight allow for ample opportunities for nature photos on your Inside Passage Cruise. You'll never forget the sight of 40-ton whales hurling themselves into the air, almost completely escaping the water. If you're especially lucky, you could see them swimming together to create a bubble net, trapping and eating fish by the giant mouthful.

**Accommodation**: Celebrity Summit Ship

### Day 3: Ketchikan, Alaska

The ship will be docked at Ketchikan Point at 07:00 AM. You have never tasted salmon so fresh. Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. If you're up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion (at extra cost) through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration followed by a sumptuous crab feast you'll long remember.
The ship will depart at 03:00 PM.

**Accommodation**: Celebrity Summit Ship

### Day 4: Sitka, Alaska

The ship will be docked at 07:00 AM. Sitka, Alaska: A Russian settlement until the Alaska Purchase of 1867, Sitka’s Russian heritage is still very much rooted in the city. Visit St. Michael’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral for a pristine example of period architecture. Nestled on the coast of the Gulf of Alaska, there’s much natural beauty to explore on a Sitka cruise. A walk along the promenade in Whale Park offers a chance to view breaching humpback whales while a trek into Sitka Historical Park reveals stunning coastal trails and hundred-year-old totem poles. Venture to Tongass National Forest for up close views of wildlife, including Alaska Coastal Brown Bears, American Bald Eagles and Sitka Blacktail Deer. Or head to the Sheldon Jackson Museum, the oldest standing structure in all of Alaska which is home to a small, yet impressive collection of artifacts from all of Alaska’s indigenous groups. Ship will depart at 03:30 PM.

**Accommodation**: Celebrity Summit Ship

### Day 5: Juneau Alaska

The ship will be Tendered from 7:00 am - 9:30 pm. Here's your chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure (Highlight at extra cost) in Alaska's capital, where cultured sophistication meets the ruggedness of the Last Frontier. Ship will depart at 09:30 PM.

**Accommodation**: Celebrity Summit Ship

### Day 6: Icy Strait Point, Alaska

The ship will be Tendered from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. For thousands of years, the Tlingit Indians have called this place home. Located near the city of Hoonah, and home to a historic cannery, Icy Strait Point also offers travelers the chance to view wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears, or to explore monuments to the region's fishing heritage. Ship will depart at 05:00 PM.

**Accommodation**: Celebrity Summit Ship

### Day 7: Hubbard Glacier, Alaska

Sightseeing from 6:00 am - 10:00 am. The Hubbard Glacier is located about 30 miles north off the coast of Yakutat and is by far one of Alaska’s most exciting natural treasures. On your cruise to Hubbard Glacier, enjoy incredible picture-perfect views of this glorious mount of ice from about every angle on your ship. While most of the world’s glaciers are retreating, the Hubbard Glacier has continued to thicken over the years and on rare occasion will partially block Russell Fjord, temporarily damming its passage. Cruise Hubbard Glacier and experience the wilds of Alaska as your ship makes its way through icy waters turning from Yakutat Bay into the narrow Disenchantment Bay to come face-to-face with the towering Hubbard Glacier. A dedicated onboard naturalist narrates the experience and keeps an eye out for the whales, harbor seals, and otters that hunt and play in the waters of Yakutat Bay. It’s an adventure of a lifetime.

**Accommodation**: Celebrity Summit Ship

### Day 8: Disembarkation & proceed Seattle

This day the cruising comes to an end in Seward. Ship will be docked at 06:00 AM. The cruise may have ended, but the adventure continues. Check out after breakfast and transfer to Anchorage (2 hours 30 mins). Upon arrival in Anchorage, discover the charming city of Anchorage and its cultural heritage during a relaxed small tour around its key landmarks and points of interest. Highlights include an Alaskan ulu knife making demonstration at the Ulu Factory, sampling chocolate at the Anchorage Chocolate Factory, home to the world’s largest chocolate waterfall, and discovering Earthquake Park, famously formed by the 1964 Alaska earthquake. After the tour transfer to Anchorage airport to catch flight to Seattle (at extra cost). Upon arrival, check to the hotel for overnight stay in Seattle.

> Priceless ...
My lastest tour in Feb 2020 to Norway with WOW.....
I have gone for some really really amazing tours with WOW during the past one year .... but THIS ONE by far was the MOST heart satisfying tour. I still see the images of God’s MOST BEAUTIFUL show that we saw of the Aurora Borealis in Tromso.

Thinking back, Norway northern lights was the very first choice of tour I wanted to do with WOW. However on doing a research on the tour I had discovered that one had to be really prepared to do a northern lights tour. And me, in 2019 Feb was not totally prepared for it. So I did several other tours during the year which were fabulous too and then finally in February 2020 I did the best tour of my life ... (until now).

Obviously the Northern lights ... THE AURORA BOREALIS being the highlight of the tour ... we were the MOST LUCKY lot of ladies. Am sure most of us had read and studied about the northern lights before we left and so on our flight from Oslo to Tromso ... I see a grey thick straight line cloud in the sky from the window of my small aircraft.... and I quickly open my Northern Lights camera App on the iPhone and click a pic of the ray of grey light which looked like a cloud with naked eyes and I SEE the Aurora Borealis soo clear. We all 20 ladies of WOW group in the aircraft went beserk coz this was the first sight of the most awesome thing we saw.

After an entire day of travel from hotel to Oslo airport to Tromso and to hotel etc ... still we were all very excited for our first short safari of 3 hours of the Northern light that night and guess what we could have experienced!!!!

We drove for about an hour to reach a spot which was in the middle of nowhere and the guide tell us to get off the bus (it was -4 degrees freezing cold) and we immediately see the entire sky in front of us with rays of green aurora borealis which was visible to our naked eyes. We were all so thrilled and the freezing cold did not matter any more. We clicked many pics on the app and the guide started taking our pics too. In just 30 mins of super excitement we were the most blessed lot who suddenly saw the dancing aurora borealis. It was like MAGIC. The entire sky was filled with the lights from God and Universe and we actually saw the them dancing in the sky. There was so much excitement and screaming and we did not know whether we should be clicking or watching or posing with it lolzz. It was truly magical.... really can’t express in words. We returned back to the hotel with most happy and satisfied hearts and with gratitude that we could experience this. The guide said that he had not seen such amazing lights in last 3 years.

Apart from the entire tour that was sooo fulfilling and amazing... we had 3 more night safaris of the aurora borealis where we did see little magic every night... however the first night being most special Gift from God types. I will share a few pics to take you right into my experience. We also did the most awesome cruise from Flåm and several sightseeings which were truly amazing including the train journey to Flåm (wooden train compartments) with a picture stop on a station between mountains was like in the movies and Flåm felt like being in a fairy tale. And not to miss the amazing husky ride where we saw 143 husky dogs and we could actually touch and pat them. It was very fulfilling. Honestly I could write a little book on this tour lol. Bottom line ... I am most thankful to one of our best wow buddy Vithika for making everyday a perfect day and ofcourse most grateful to WOW for organising such awesome tours and making people LIVE THEIR DREAMS. Looking forward to many more HEART TRAVELS ♥️
