On arrival in Halong Bay, we take a 4-hour fantastic cruise on a traditional junk through the clear emerald waters between the limestone outcrops and long corridors. We visit Dau Go Cave “Grotto of the Wooden Stakes” and the Thien Cung Cave “Grotto of Heavenly Palace”, famous for its stalagmites and stalactites. Both the caves require one to climb about 100-150 steps. A seafood lunch will be served on-board before journeying back to Hanoi. Transfer back to Hanoi by evening. The tunnels, over 250 km in length and up to three levels deep in places, played a huge part in the Viet Cong’s victory over the Americans, allowing them to control a large rural area surrounding Ho Chi Minh City. Return back to the city. After Lunch we visit the Post Office and continue with lade Emperor Pagoda dating from 1909. After some time to relax at the hotel, head out to experience the vibrant nightlife at Bui Vien Walking Street, known for its lively atmosphere, street performances, music, and a wide variety of bars and eateries.
