Day 1
WELCOME TO VIETNAM!
Xin Chào! Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam. On arrival, enjoy time to unwind at the hotel before heading for sightseeing. Enjoy having a walk in the New Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Visit the Temple of Literature, the first University in Vietnam dating back to the 16th century. Later enjoy watching a water puppet show which is a representation of a traditional Vietnamese theatre show that dates back to their history. Experience a local dinner at a Vietnamese Restaurant. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 2
DAY TRIP TO HALONG BAY
After an early breakfast, embark on a 3 hour scenic drive crossing paddy fields and villages in the Red River Delta. On arrival in Halong Bay, we take a 4-hour fantastic cruise on a traditional junk through the clear emerald waters between the limestone outcrops and long corridors. We visit Dau Go Cave “Grotto of the Wooden Stakes” and the Thien Cung Cave “Grotto of Heavenly Palace”, famous for its stalagmites and stalactites. Both the caves require one to climb about 100-150 steps. A seafood lunch (Vegetarian food will also be available) will be served on-board before journeying back to Hanoi. Transfer back to Hanoi by evening. Overnight stay in Hanoi. Note: This tour may be subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Day 3
HANOI - DANANG
Post breakfast, we checkout and visit Ho Chi Minh Complex which tells the life story of the great leader Ho Chi Minh. We begin with the Mausoleum, Museum and One pillar pagoda one of the oldest architectures dated back from the 11th century, rising on one pillar from the middle of a square lotus pond. Break for Lunch at an Indian restaurant. Later we see the Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shore of Hanoi's West Lake. Next, we take a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An (40kms/ 1 hour) for check-in. Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 4
BA NA HILLS – GOLDEN BRIDGE
Have breakfast and drive to (40kms/ 1 hour) Ba Na Hills – King Mountain, also known as the second Sapa in Central Vietnam. You will admire the most modern cable car system in Southeast Asia. After finishing the first cable car, you will visit France wine cellar, Linh Ung pagoda, Sun World then observe the panorama of Danang City. Continue to visit one of the world’s greatest places – The Golden Bridge that is a 150-metre-long pedestrian bridge designed to provide a scenic overlook. Have local Lunch. Return back to Hoi An. Visit Marble Mountain where you will see the artwork and craftsmanship of outstanding marble carvings, pieces carved from Marble, Jade and other stones The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 5
EXPERIENCE HOI AN
Breakfast at hotel. This morning, discover Hoi An sights: despite the passing of 200 years and the ravages of weather and war, the centre of Hoi An remains much the same as it was in its heyday. This walking tour is the best way to see the wooden-fronted houses that once belonged to the town’s prosperous merchants, Chinese Temple, the Japanese-covered Bridge and the wonderful market as well as the many silk, handicrafts, antique shops and galleries. Return back to the resort for some leisurely time. In the evening, come together to experience the old town of Hoi An at night lit up by hundreds of lanterns making it a dreamy sight. You can choose to enjoy a boat ride and dinner (at own expense) at Hoi An. Overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 6
HOI AN – HO CHI MINH CITY
Wake up leisurely today and have breakfast. Check-out and transfer to Danang Beach. It is an idyllic beach with calm waves, crystal clear blue water, white sand and palm trees. After that, visit Marble factory. Transfer to Danang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check-in. In the evening, experience the nightlife of HCM @ Bui Vien Walking Street. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Optional: For a great city view visit Landmark 81 (on your own) in the evening.

Day 7
MEKONG DELTA
Have breakfast at hotel. Then depart from the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City to the area referred locally as ‘the rice bowl of Vietnam’ – the mighty river Mekong´s delta. On arrival at My Tho, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed for local lunch. Enjoy boating on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. Return back to the city. In the afternoon, visit Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral (from outside), built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city’s major landmarks. Finish by a visit & shopping at Ben Thanh market. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 8
CU CHI TUNNELS - DEPARTURE
After breakfast, we check-out and visit Jade Pagoda and then transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels (60 kms/ 1.5 hours), an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels, over 250 km in length and up to three levels deep in places, played a huge part in the Viet Cong’s victory over the Americans. After that, transfer direct to airport for your departure flight.

Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
