“Ridiculously efficient” is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Kanu Baby aka Kanika. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Kanika for a very short period of time (Leh –Ladakh: 26 May – 2 June), during which she expertly filled the role of our tour coordinator. I was impressed with her ability to handle even the toughest clients—and effortlessly. That skill often takes years to develop among professionals, but it seemed to come perfectly naturally to her. I was also in awe of Kanika’s ability to command a room and get people on board with ideas—even people who were initially on completely different pages.

I could perfectly recall her taking charge of meeting us at the airport. She ensured that we were comfortably settled in our hotel. She explained the itinerary and schedule of the travel. She and Amu provided significant information about each destination or attraction visited with emphasis on its cultural and historical meaning, she managed meals and transportation related to the tour, handled emergency situations. She also ensured that we all had a stimulating experience of local offerings. I was particular intrigued that how effortlessly she blended with our group and participated in regular enjoyment activities along with us all.

And, of course, her outgoing and friendly personality, excellent leadership, problem-solving abilities, ability to organize trip effectively, open-mindedness to others’ opinions and ideas would be a true asset for any company and comes with my heartfelt recommendation.
