Later proceed to drive towards Rotorua (150 km/ 2 Hrs approx). Overnight stay in Rotorua.

    4*
  • Day 3

    Rotorua: Hot Springs & Geysers

Post breakfast, proceed for the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and Waimangu Valley boat cruise. From crystal-clear streams and magical forests, to epic trails and thermal mud pools, Rotorua has it all. Wai-O-Tapu is New Zealand's most colourful geothermal attraction - just a 30 minutes drive from Rotorua. Experience spectacular volcanic craters, enormous hot water springs, beautiful geothermal features, rare and unusual plant life, brilliantly coloured microbiology and a wide array of birds at Waimangu Valley. Cruising Milford Sound

After breakfast, proceed to drive towards Milford Sound (120 km/ 2 Hrs approx). Milford Sound is the jewel of Fiordland National Park. The park is part of Te Wahipounamu, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Despite its name, Milford Sound is actually a fiord, not a sound. It is also the only fiord in New Zealand that is accessible by road. However, its remote location, bounded by steep cliffs and dense rainforest, means its special features remain unspoilt. Rain or shine, Milford Sound continues to captivate even the most experienced traveller with its beautiful surroundings, ink-dark waters, gushing waterfalls and captivating views. Enjoy the on-board buffet lunch. Return and overnight stay in Te Anau.

    4*
  • Day 8

    Kia Ora Dunedin

Post breakfast, check out and drive to Dunedin (300 km/ 4 Hrs approx). Dunedin is a city in New Zealand, at the head of Otago Harbour on the South Island’s southeast coast. It's known for its Scottish and Maori heritage, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, and a large student population. On arrival proceed to do the city tour of Dunedin. Later enjoy the local dinner in the city. Overnight stay in Dunedin.

    4*
  • Day 9

    New Zealand's Wildlife Capital

After breakfast, transfer to Dunedin Railway journey for The Inlander Taieri Gorge Train. Negotiating the winding gorge, the comfortable train travels through ten tunnels and across numerous bridges. Drive through Otago Peninsula and proceed to the Albatross centre where you see the nesting colony of these giant wonders. Indulge in the Royal Albatross Centre Unique Tairoa Tour (90 Minutes). Overnight stay in Dunedin.

Conclude your New Zealand journey with the Farewell Dinner. Overnight stay in Christchurch.

    3*
  • Day 11

Kia Pai or Good Bye NZ

Post breakfast, we check out and proceed to Christchurch International Airport (on your own account) to fly back home with beautiful memories and souvenirs. Suggestion: You may also chose to extend your travel to Australia from this day onward.

This was my fifth trip with WOW in under 2 years and my first international one, so I had a lot of expectations and they were almost all met and sometimes even exceeded. And how could I ever forget getting to see the Pandas close up. I consider them my spirit animal - try to move for like a second and if not possible then fall back down and rest a while... ha ha.... I only wish they allowed people to hug them but of course it's good for the Pandas that they don't.
I also absolutely enjoyed every meal on the trip and really relished the Chinese delicacies served up. Was so glad to have had the local fare... if only I could've managed the chopsticks... oh well there's always next time. This trip gave me a glance at a different way of life and has left me intrigued to explore more.
Thank you WOW and thanks Shivangi for making my first international trip with you, what I consider a success and hope to take up more such trips with you guys.

We are all back from a wonderful holiday and but yet, I am not over with it. The hangover remains and I am sure this would remain in my soul lifelong.

The experience has been out of the world and this was my FIRST SOLO TRIP. I wasn't sure about the trip and how would the trip be managed and taken forward . Whether my decision in taking the trip with WOW was correct or wrong. I can proudly say that if I hadn't taken this decision I would have made the biggest mistake of my life and have had missed this wonderful experience which I would cherish throughout .

The trip has given me lots of motivations to get fitter in life and more positive. Made wonderful friends for a lifetime and all thanks to wow for the same.

Kumud you have been a wonderful wow buddy and you have really taken great efforts in holding people together and being a great host and friend.

I loved my trip with WOW! Here are my highlights:
An evening spent with the Djabugay people in the Rainforests: the original inhabitants of Australia’s diverse aboriginal heritage. We got a deeper understanding of their heritage through an intensive interactive cultural experience. The evening started with us following the Tjapukai warriors to a meeting with the Bama, all indigenous people. They painted our faces to link us to their traditional land and took us on a mesmerising journey - they lit the ceremonial fire, followed by all of us dancing while teaching us to follow the beats with their traditional instruments. They recited and celebrated with us Aboriginal stories of their past with the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo, a traditional wind instrument.

Memorable experiences indeed! Thank you WOW!

God certainly made New Zealand at leisure. On our WOW trip to NZ we visited and engaged in some amazing activities. Queens town is not for the faint hearted. With opportunities to sky dive and bungee jump - you will be spoilt for choice for adventure activities.
An uphill Gondola ride with jaw dropping views of Queenstown, the lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountains and a downhill self driven ride on luge tracks was my fave activity in Queenstown.
For the uninitiated a luge is partly a go kart and partly toboggan - a thrilling gravity ride speeding downhill.
Auckland with its spectacular Parnell rose gardens is a charming city in North island and Christchurch in th South Island.
We visited Te Anau, Mirror lakes (brilliant) and Milford sound (the fjords)and the mind blowing glow worm caves. Nature seemed to be at its best in this bountiful country.
I loved the cruise to Pahia - Bay of islands. The greens
and blues are forever etched in memory.
We also managed a wine tasting afternoon at Wahike island at Mudbrick!
It was a memorable trip to New Zealand with WOW. The trip was well organised and we had a wonderful time together enjoying NZ to the fullest.

Enquiry

  • What does twin share price mean?

Twin share price is the price mentioned against a package and it refers to the cost per head for a double sharing accommodation. If you'd like to upgrade to Single Occupancy, please select this at the time of checkout
  • Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?

OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city.
  • Do you offer a travel protection / insurance plan for purchase? Is it included in the cost?

Yes, we do offer a travel insurance which is included in the package cost. For travelers above 59 years and above, an additional amount will be charged.
  • Can WOW book the flights for us?

Definitely! We routinely book and manage flights for our Wanderers. We recommend that travelers get their flights booked through us as this comes in handy when there are issues to do with cancellations or re-routings.
  • How safe is to travel with The WOW Club?

Your safety is our number one priority. We've designed our itineraries since 2005, keeping this in mind. We always ensure access to emergency contacts throughout the trip.
  • What if I do not pay the full payment on time or miss my installment date?

We have attractive offers on our trips, but this is available on adhering to the payment schedule shown at the time of booking. If your full payment is not received by the due date as per the payment schedule, you would not be entitled to receive the benefit of WOW offers like super early bird or early bird. You will be charged the regular price when you make your final payment.
  • Why do we have long road journeys in this trip?

Road journeys are filled with experiences. Sometimes, it is the most suitable mode of travel in many countries like this one - as the cities are not connected well by any other mode.
