Solo Female Travel Tour to Maldives - WOW Club Maldives Solo

Pondicherry Feb 2021- This was my first trip with WOW and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Even before the trip, we got the timely emails about getting Covid tests, and Vithika even coordinated about the e-pass that we might have needed in Chennai. Most of us we were travelling after Covid for the first time, so it was very reassuring to see such minor details taken care of in advance.

What I loved most about the actual trip was that it was very well balanced between sight-seeing and having free time for yourself. The travel arrangements- the bus, the hotel, the tour guide- were all amazing. It was obvious that WOW had arranged for the best and had not cut corners anywhere. Most trips I’ve been to otherwise have been the opposite but this one was such a fresh and welcome change.

The itinerary was also flexible and our requests were taken into consideration- we wanted to do a quick visit to the beach before heading to Auroville and that was done. We skipped the cooking lesson and went to Perumal Hotel instead (and it turned out be to an amazing place!).

And of course, Vithika- she was very helpful and accommodating. Whether it came to buying medicines at the last moment or forgetting to bring my own mask (she offered me a new one of her own!), she was an absolute delight to have around. She even provided suggestions about local cafes and shopping points and coordinated everything beautifully through the Whatsapp group.

Looking forward to travelling with WOW and with Vithika again in future.

I have traveled with WOW twice. Last year it was Kerela. Anxious I was, as it was the first time I was traveling with unknown people. Gathering all the courage, I decided to go for it. The only words I need to put my feelings and views about this trip would be tears in my eyes when I was boarding my return flight. WOW made traveling so easy and wonderful for solo women, especially when the world is not a safe place anymore. Budget friendly, luxurious hotels, comfortable transport, amazing WOW buddies... A super awesome package. Pink evenings are just cherry on top. About Sri Lanka - The destination was mesmerizing and breath taking. Snorkeling experience helped me conquer my fears. Antakshari rounds, dance parties, chilling on the beach, late night talks, food tasting sessions made this trip so memorable. Thank you WOW for giving me a new hope. Looking forward to many more trips!

"Finally.. it took me more than a week to get over from my Sri Lankan hangover.. Yes! The island nation has so much to offer that our 6 day trip looked like a preface for my future travel plans there. Sri Lanka has everything from pristine beaches, tropical forests and of course the majestic hills.
Our itinerary included various experiences from history, nature, wildlife, beach,spice garden, shopping and yeah amazing food. We got to try everything from local street food to the best of Sri Lanka cuisine. My finest experience is easily the boat ride in the Indian ocean for whale watching - happy we are one of the few lucky lot to spot some whales - and my first ever snorkeling experience of the coral reefs in pigeon island. I should mention here the kind of arrangement made for this activity was thoughtful and personalized.
This is my second trip with #WOW and my experience is getting better everytime. Tanvi is a great buddy and our local guide there Mr Victoria was enthusiastic and informative. And not to forget my fellow travelers- they have changed my perception of traveling with such a diverse age group, all of them are very sportive and enthusiastic.
