Why Chandranahan is one of the most beautiful trek in Himachal? Firstly The Chandranahan Lake is a small lake fed by several springs and melting snow. It is the true source of the Pabbar River, beside which you trek throughout this journey. The lake is in an alpine zone around the 14,000 feet — the altitude makes it a whole different adventure. The lake is in a kind of a bowl flanked by high snow peaks. Trekking to the lake feels like almost being part of a big climbing expedition. The Plan
Day 1
Chandigarh - Shimla
On arrival, we will drive towards Shimla, lunch will be done enroute (at own expense). The drive from Chandigarh to Shimla will be around 5 hours 30 minutes. After we reach Shimla check in to hotel to get ourselves freshened up. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay is in Shimla.
