Day 1
Dehradun to Guptkashi
Arrive in Dehradun and drive to Guptkashi (6 hr 20 min/217.9 km). Guptkashi is one of the prominent spiritual sites in Uttarakhand. It lies en route to Kedarnath, nestled in the lush green Mandakini river valley. On arrival check into the hotel and proceed for dinner. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 2
Kedarnath
After breakfast, drive to Phata (35 min/14.3 km) which is a small village located in route to Kedarnath. Take a helicopter ride (ticket not included) to Kedarnath temple. Take a ride back to the Phata and return back to Guptkashi. Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 3
Leisure day for Kedarnath
Due to bad weather sometimes the helicopter cannot fly so we keep this day also reserve for Kedarnath. Dinner & overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 4
Tungnath
After breakfast, check out and drive from Guptkashi to Chopta (1 hr 43 min/46.6 km) also called as Mini Switzerland) and trek/ ponny ride to Tungnath which is 3.5 kms one way. Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the Rudraprayag district. Trek back and drive to Joshimath (14 hr 16 min/135 kms). On arrival check in and proceed for dinner. Overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 5
Joshimath to Auli
After breakfast, check out and drive to Auli (22 min/6.6 km). On arrival we will take the chair lift from Auli to Tower no 8. Further trek to Gorson top for a splendid view of the mountain range. Later drive to Badrinath (2 hrs 14 min/51.5 km). On arrival check into the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 6
Badrinath Temple
Today go early morning to witness the Maha Abhishek at 0430 hrs at Badrinath temple. Return back to hotel and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast drive to Mana village (the last village in that area) sightseeing of Bhim pull, Vyas gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Mana Gorge and drive back to Rudraprayag. On arrival check into the hotel and proceed for dinner. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 7
Rudraprayag to Rishikesh
After breakfast, check out and drive to Rishikesh (4 hr 9 min/138.7 km). Check into the hotel and relax. In the evening proceed for the Ganga Aarti. Return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Departure
After breakfast transfer to Dehradun airport to catch a flight back home.

This was my eighth trip with WOW! It was an awesome trip, very well planned and organised. The Buddy and local guide were both helpful and managed the trip very well. We enjoyed the highlights of Dubai! Our hotels were very nice and luxurious. Sightseeing was good but wish we had more time for shopping! Visiting Ferrari World and Yas Water Park was a wonderful experience. It was a beautiful trip with loads of memories. Travelling to Croatia next with WOW :)

"VOF was supposed to be my first trip with WOW way back in 2013. But.. it turned out be be my 8th instead! The transport and accomdation are always comfortable with WOW; however I was pleasently surprised by the very comfortable camping site. This particularly helped us have a good night's sleep after strenuous trekking in the day time. The guide chosen by WOW was excellent - not only knowledgeable, but great at managing changing demands of WOW Wanderers. I am already looking forward to my 9th one with WOW in September!
