Day 1
Arrival in Tbilisi
Arrive at Tbilisi Airport and transfer to the Hotel, check in and catch up on your sleep. Later in the evening, we will proceed for the welcome Dinner. Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 2
Tbilisi City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Begin the city tour in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Walking in the old part of city through the narrow streets to admire the colorful persian-style houses, the carved wooden balconies and the interesting examples of modern architecture. Visit of Metekhi church which offers a superb view of the old city, the Sioni cathedral, the synagogue, the caravanserai, the Anchiskhati church, the oldest in the city. Then, we take advantage of the panoramic view of the whole city by taking the cable car to climb the hill overlooking the city and descending on foot to visit the ancient fortress of Narikala. Then we go down to the sulfurous baths district Abanotubani and the Flower Garden. Continue to Chronicle of Georgia which will fascinate you with its monumental carved frescoes. Free time at the city. Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 3
Alazani valley
Breakfast at the hotel. We take the road to Kakheti, a region nestled between beautiful landscapes on the chains of the Great Caucasus and on the fertile valleys. Visit Bodbe Monastery where lies the tomb of Saint Nino. Then visit charming little city Sighnaghi. Short walking tour. Georgian ‘’supra’’ feast animated with Georgian polyphonic songs. Then visit the small palace of Prince Chavchavadze. The complex in Tsinandali combines the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel, and a café. Continuation for the discovery of the Marani (wine cellar) of the best winemaker in the country, recognized internationally. Taste the traditional Georgian wine which is kept in buried jars (kvevri). Taste local "chacha" (local grappa). Overnight in Telavi.

Day 4
To the Great Caucasus
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Mtskheta by Gombori pass (1620m), the former capital of Georgia and the religious center of the country. Then visit the architectural complex of Ananuri driving along the Georgia's famous Military Highway which winds through mountainous landscapes offering unique views of valleys, peaks, rivers. A must-stop on this route is the Soviet Monument, symbolizing the understanding between Russia and Georgia. Arrival in Gudauri for overnight stay.

Day 5
Great Caucasus landscapes
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Stephantsminda. Departure in 4x4 through magnificent woods and valleys which lead us to the church of the Trinity of Guergueti located at 2170m. From here opens a splendid view of one of the highest peaks of the Caucasus, Mt. Kazbek 5047 m. Georgian ‘’supra’’ feast with Tamada (master of toasts) performance with mountain dish Khinkali. After lunch you will assist the manufacture of wool felt in a local workshop. This visit will be followed by a tasting of local jam and tea. Small walking tour in the village Sno known for its authenticity and Giant Stone Heads of Georgian writers. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6
Georgia – Armenia
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Georgian-Armenian border. The north part of Armenia, one of the country’s most beautiful regions with its forested mountains, clear water springs, deep canyons, gorges, and caves. Visit Haghpat Monastery one of the largest and most impressive medieval monasteries in Armenia listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Crossing landscapes of dancing forests and large green pastures we will arrive in the city of Dilijan. You will discover the local architecture, the houses with wooden balconies are still numerous there and give a particular charm to the small streets. Arriving in Sevan Lake, we will climb the peninsula to visit the medieval Monastery of Sevanavank (9th century) to enjoy a panoramic view on the lake surrounded by the Geghama mountain range. Continuation to Yerevan. Check-in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 7
Yerevan City tour
After breakfast, we will start the Republic Square, Walking along Northern Avenue, a pedestrian boulevard over a length of 450 meters from the Republic Square to Liberty Square. Then we continue to walk along Abovian street to the Opera of Yerevan which brought a gold medal to the architect Tamanian at the International Exhibition in Paris in 1937. Continuing to the Cascade, this gigantic stone staircase, in the city center connecting the upper and lower parts of the city. Visit Matenadaran, home of over 17,000 ancient manuscripts. Next visit the covered food market of the city which houses in a large hall of numerous stalls of Armenian specialties such as dried fruits, vegetables, local cheeses, spices etc. Free time in Vernissage open market for shopping. Overnight stay in Yerevan.

Day 8
Ararat Valley
After breakfast, departure to the only pagan temple preserved from the pre-Christian era, Garni. Visit the ruins of the royal palace and the baths located near the temple. Walk in the Gorge of Azat to discover the mineral symphony of the basalt stones organs of Garni. Continuation to the Geghard Monastery the apogee of Armenian medieval architecture, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All around you can see the cave cells which houses cross stones carved into the rock walls which add to the charm of this monastery. Small concert of liturgical songs in one of the rooms of the monastery. Departure to the south, a sacred place for Armenians, the Church of Khor Virap, the closest point to Mount Ararat. Farewell dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport to board flight back home.
