The Plan
Day 1 Beginning with Bled
The adventure begins in the capital of Slovenia; the vibrant Ljubljana. Upon arrival, transfer to Bled. Bled, a Slovenian resort town in the foothills of the Julian Alps, is set along the glacial Lake Bled. On a cliff overlooking the lake is the 11th-century Bled Castle, which houses a museum, chapel and printing press. Atop a small island in the lake's center is the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Maria, with its steep staircase and bell tower. enjoy the local welcome Dinner and overnight stay in Bled.

Day 2 BLED & BOHINJ
Post breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city of Bled. Enjoy the ride on the local slovenian boats called Pletna. Pletna boats are made by locals and are typical of Bled. Their origins date back to 1590. Also visit the Bled Castle (entrance included). Perched atop a cliff towering 130 metres above Lake Bled, the castle rewards visitors observing the countryside from its lower courtyard with stunning views of Bled, its lake and the island. Later proceed to Bohinj for the sightseeing tour including the cable car ride at Mt. Vogel. In just 4 minutes, the Vogel Cable Car transports you from the lakeside in Ukanc (579m) to Vogel Ski Station (1535m). At the top of the cable car there is a fabulous viewing platform and a quaint café. Return to Bled for overnight stay.

Day 3 ON OUR WAY TO PORTOROZ
After the breakfast, check out and proceed to Portoroz. On our way stop Predjama to visit the Castle of Predjama (entrance included). Predjama is one of the most extraordinary castles in the world, built in the mouth of a cave complex at the end of a valley in southwest Slovenia. Set halfway up a 400-foot (123-meter) vertical cliff face, it appears in records from 1202 and is listed by Guinness World Records as the world's largest cave castle. Later we also visit Postojna to visit the famous Postojna Cave (entrance included). Overnight stay in Portoroz.

Day 4 PIRAN
After the breakfast, drive to Piran. On arrival, we proceed for the city tour of Piran. Piran is the most beautiful town on the Slovenian coast. The old port town with remnants of a medieval wall is protected as a cultural and historical monument. We will also visit the Olive farm in Portoroz Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5 VIPAVA VALLEY & LJUBLJANA
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Ljubljana. On the way, stop to visit the local winery in Vipava valley. The Vipava Valley wine growing district is most famous for its white varietals and the quality white blend called Vipavec. The foremost white is Ribolla Gialla whose ancient tradition is also the longest. We later proceed to Ljubljana for the overnight stay.

Day 6 LJUBLJANA CITY TOUR
After the breakfast proceed to explore Ljubljana. Spend the morning discovering highlights of Ljubljana on a guided walking tour including Ljubljana Castle. The castle has over 400 years of history covering a very large area, retaining very complete walls and watchtowers. The building is beautiful, and now it is a castle museum, showing many medieval artifacts. Enjoy the lunch in one of the local cafes on your own. Enjoy some free time on your own Overnight in Ljubljana.

Day 7 MORE ABOUT LJUBLJANA
Take your time and have breakfast at leisure. In the afternoon visit the Ljubljana River to enjoy the Ljubljanica boat ride (Duration- 1 hour). The boat 'Ljubljanica' is made of larch wood and is a product of local know-how. Learn what secrets the city hides and why this little river holds such prominent place in human history. Later in the evening, proceed for the farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Ljubljana.

Day 8 Bye Bye Slovenia!
After this beautiful journey in mesmerizing Slovenia get ready bid bye this place. Post breakfast proceed to Ljubljana Airport for return flight.

What is Slovenian food like?
Typical Slovene food is influenced by the neighboring Slavic, Hungarian and Italian traditions and is in general wholesome and hearty. Goulash is perhaps the most popular dish, made of beef or lamb and slow cooked in a thick gravy with carrots, mushrooms, potatoes and seasoning. Sausage and Sauerkraut is a simple but filling dish that is found in many Ljubljana cafes and restaurants and can be served as an appetizer or main meal. Noted desserts include Potica - a crunchy nut roll and Slovenian almond cake.
