Best of Europe: A Women-Only Tour

Arrive in Prague, the magical capital of Czech Republic. Prague is the equal of Paris in terms of beauty. It’s history goes back a millennium. And the beer? The best in Europe. We head straight to the hotel to stretch our legs and get some shut-eye to charge our batteries. In the evening, get ready for the Vltava river cruise and later head for welcome dinner. Overnight in Prague.

The Golden City, the City of a Thousand Spires; for centuries Prague has been sweeping visitors off their feet with its cobbled streets, soaring towers, and great beer! After breakfast, enjoy half day guided tour around the cobbled streets of Prague. Visit Prague Castle, the world’s largest ancient castle, followed by a walk across the historic Charles Bridge and through the Old Town to see the Astronomical Clock, Jan Hus Monument, and one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval squares. In the evening, you can enjoy an optional Black Light Theatre show—step into a magical 4D world. Overnight in Prague.

Post breakfast, proceed to Cesky Krumlov- the fairytale town (2.5 hrs approx). It’s a little like Prague in miniature – a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a stunning castle above the Vltava River, an old town square, Renaissance and baroque architecture, and hordes of tourists milling through the streets – but all on a smaller scale. You can walk from one side of town to the other in 20 minutes. After lunch (on your own), proceed for the tour to the historical centre of Cesky Krumlov. Later transfer to the hotel and check-in. Dinner & overnight stay in Cesky Krumlov.

Bellevue hotel 4*or similar (4*)

Post check out, we head to Salzburg (3 hrs approx). The historic centre of the city, with its rich mix of art and architecture, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1996. A unique combination of scenic Alpine landscape and architectural richness has led to Salzburg’s reputation as one of the world’s most beautiful cities. After lunch (on your own), proceed for guided tour of the sound of music. Later transfer to the hotel and check-in. Overnight in Salzburg.

Theater Hotel Salzburg or similar (4*)

Today after breakfast proceed to Hallstatt salt mine cave. Your journey into the Hallstatt period begins with the ascent to the Hallstatt high valley on the panoramic Salzburg funicular. There, from the free-floating skywalk, you risk a view of historic Hallstatt 350 meters below and of the World Heritage region. Immediately afterwards, you will be immersed in an epoch of mankind far in the past. After lunch, return back to Salzburg and rest of the day is at leisure.

Theater Hotel Salzburg or similar (4*)

Post breakfast and check out, we head to Vienna which is approx 3.5 hrs away from Salzburg. En route, stop at the famous Naschmarkt to soak in its vibrant atmosphere of fresh produce, local delicacies, and international flavors. Vienna is a citadel of high art, classical music and fancy chocolates (yes, Mozart Balls). It is nestled in between hills heavy with vineyards, and bisected by the Danube, which from a distance does in fact look blue. On arrival, you will have free time for lunch (on our own). Check-in to the hotel and evening will be free to explore the town on your own. Overnight in Vienna.

Renaissance Schonbrunn Hotel or similar (4*)

After the breakfast, proceed for half day guided city tour of Vienna. Vienna has a great deal of cultural history, from its imperial past to its classical music heritage. One of the most iconic buildings to visit in Vienna, and one that overarches Vienna’s imperial and classical history, is the stunning Schonbrunn Palace. Walk through the famous Ringstrasse with views of the majestic baroque architecture including the Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the MuseumsQuartier, the Imperial Palace, etc (all from outside). Later, visit the Schonbrunn palace (with audio guide). Overnight in Vienna.

Renaissance Schonbrunn Hotel or similar (4*)

Post breakfast and check out, proceed to Budapest which is approximately 3 hours drive from Vienna. A cosmopolitan European capital with a relaxed vibe, Budapest's wide boulevards and stunning architecture, steamy thermal baths, wealth of UNESCO World Heritage sites, and evolving food scene are sure to resonate with all. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Since Budapest has more thermal springs than any other capital city in the world it is good to have an experience of one. You can enjoy the Szechenyi thermal bath (at your own expense). Overnight in Budapest.

NH Hotel Budapest or similar (4*)

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day guided city tour of Budapest, once called the “Queen of the Danube. Will later do the sightseeing of the Royal Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, and Matthias Church, then enjoy panoramic views from Gellért Hill and Cross to Pest to explore Heroes’ Square, Vajdahunyad Castle, Andrássy Avenue, the Dohány Street Synagogue, and St. Stephen’s Basilica and Parliament House from outside. Lunch will be on your own. In the mid afternoon, enjoy a Folklore Show, and in the evening, proceed for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Budapest.
