Day 1
Welcome to Chettinad!
Arrive at Madurai airport and transfer to the Chidambara Vilas ( 2 hours) . On arrival at the heritage resort, experience a traditional welcome at the beautiful resort and know more while touring the mansion. After check-in, the rest of the day is free for leisure. Enjoy the welcome Dinner by the poolside. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 2
A fun day of Sightseeing
Post the traditional interactive Chettinad breakfast, we move on to witness the Athangudi Tiles Making Factory, the beautiful Athangudi Palace ,Saree Weaving Centre, Raja Palace and Kanadukathan Village. We stop for lunch for a ‘Chettiar Feast’ Later, we experience a Heritage village walk. Get hands on experience on the Kollam and Garland making in Chettinad style. Retreat back to the resort and have dinner. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 3
Thanjavur
After Breakfast, proceed to Thanjavur for the Temple visit. The temple has a massive colonnaded prakara (corridor) and one of the largest Shiva lingas in India. It is also famed for the quality of its sculpture, as well as being the location that commissioned the brass Nataraja – Shiva as the lord of dance, in 11th century. Later proceed for local lunch. We will then continue to painting and Doll market at Thanjavur. Return to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Avudaiyarkoil Village
After breakfast, we visit the Avudaiyarkoil village. The village is primarily centered on and best known for the Tirupperunturai temple which is famous for its exquisite Stone carvings and granite roof work. Nartha Malai Temple -9 th Century Rock Cut Architecture followed by lunch. Later return to the hotel for a Chettinad cuisine cooking class. In the evening you will have a chance to visit the paddy fields and watch peacocks too. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 5
Madurai - Departure
After breakfast and Lunch at Chidambara Vilas, check out and proceed to Madurai . This day you will also visit the Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal & Meenakshi Amman Temple followed by some shopping time at Madurai’s popular Market after that proceed to Madurai airport to board the flights back home after an exciting interaction with the traditions and cultures of Chettinad.

- Additional transfer required due to any emergency situation or private airport transfer (arriving or departing by flight that does not match with the suggested flight by WOW team)
