Day 1
Celebrate Backwater life
Arrival at Cochin International Airport and transfer to Kumarakom. Check in to CGH Coconut Lagoon which can be reached only by a boat. There are so many facets to the Coconut Lagoon experience. The heritage of the old feudal villages of Malabar. The vast frolic of the Vembanad lake. The shimmering waters of the canals that criss-cross the property. Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Vembanad lake - an hour-long idyll.

Day 2
A Pearl Upon the Waters
In Coconut Lagoon, the Kerala heritage spirit reflects in every structure. Experiences: Yoga at the Lake, Bird watching - sight of acres of fields smeared with Egrets birds. Additionally there are some optional activities like - Healing time at Ayurveda centre, take a canoe ride to explore Coconut Lagoon canals and more.

Day 3
Marari - The fine art of being
After breakfast, transfer to Marari(1 hour drive) and check in to CGH-Marari beach Resort that offers a sea-side village experience. Everything, from the thatched cottages to the upkeep of the property, echoes the simplicity, beauty and harmony that underlie Malabar coastal cultures.

Unwind & Relax the Marari Way
Nature and wellness are omnipresent at Marari and oversee all your experiences. Experiences: Naturalist led Walks, Cook with the Chef - Organic Kitchen, Additionally you can opt for a range of treatments and traditional Kerala massages, backwater cruise, You can also choose to walk, cycle or cruise to any of the surrounding villages.,

Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Cochin International airport for your flight back home. Optional: You can also opt for an extension in Cochin.

Optional: The Ayurvedic centre has qualified doctors you can consult, and they'll be happy to introduce you to this ancient form of no-side-effects medicine. What's more, therer's a full range of treatments and traditional Kerala massages on offer. A great way to start your Marari day (or for that matter, finish it). -

The yoga centre at Marari is open daily for sessions guided by experts. You are also welcome to watch and interact with our Ayurveda therapists as they practice their rigorous and complex Kalari Payattu asanas every other day, and learn a few if you will.

Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
What meals are included on my trip? Can i request Indian / vegetarian / special cuisine on tour?
The exact number of meals included on the trip is clearly specified on the itinerary and is different for each trip. Our vacations strive to introduce you to local authentic flavors, so you can enjoy the destination in a deeper way. Therefore, included meals are usually local or continental. Please request vegetarian meals at the time of booking, and also with the local guide and WOW Buddy on tour; this can usually not a problem when requested in advance. When meals are not included, you may choose an restaurant of your choice in the city you are touring. -
Can WOW book the flights for us?
Definitely! We routinely book and manage flights for our Wanderers. We recommend that travelers get their flights booked through us as this comes in handy when there are issues to do with cancellations or re-routings. -
