Day 1
Arrival at Amritsar
On arrival at Amritsar airport, transfer to our Heritage Haveli, Ranjit’s Svaasa followed by a welcome ‘SVAASA Amritsari Hi- Tea’. Get ready to experience the Heritage Boutique Haveli and its soothing ambience. In the evening we will assemble to visit Gobindgarh fort for sound and light show. Gobindgarh Fort echoes the fascinating history of Punjab and offers insights into the events that have shaped the region into what it is today. Later, proceed to Dhaba located at the walled city for typical Amritsari dinner. Back to the Haveli for overnight stay.

Day 2
Shopping spree!
After breakfast leave for the Walled city to visit the Partition Museum and Jallianwala Bagh. Next we will visit the Golden Temple in the daytime, eat langar prasad and visit their museum. Post lunch you can walk the local streets and the famous markets, a perfect place to shop for juttis, phulkari suit and dupattas, amritsari papad etc. The best part, nothing here is really overpriced! Later in the evening, back to the haveli for dinner. End your day by experiencing night Palki ceremony at the Golden Temple. Overnight stay at Haveli.

Day 3
Wagah Border
Leisurely morning, to relax at the Haveli. Post lunch, we will assemble to visit Ram Tirath Temple, the Legendary birthplace of Luv and Kush and the spot where the sage Valmiki's ashram stood. Later in the evening, proceed to wagah border to witness the change of guard. At the international border between India and Pakistan, the pomp and pageantry of the Beating Retreat and the Change of Guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces makes for a most charming spectacle. Back to the Haveli for dinner and overnight stay.

Departure
After breakfast, we transfer to Amritsar airport for your flight back home.

Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
