Day 1
Guwahati - Shillong
Arrival at Guwahati airport, upon arrival drive to Shillong (121 kms/ 5 Hrs approx). En route, we take a short break at Umiam Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at Royal Heritage Tripura Castle.

Day 2
Dawki – Mawlynnong Excursion
After breakfast, drive to Dawki (2 hrs approx) on the Indo Bangladesh border. Enjoy the scenery and take a ride in local boats. Drive up to the village of Mawlynnong. Walk through this picturesque village and visit the root bridge in the neighboring village of Riwai. Later, by evening drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Royal Heritage Tripura Castle.

Day 3
Shillong – Cherrapunji
After breakfast, checkout and drive to the village of Smit for a photo stop and further to Laitlum canyons. Drive to Cherrapunji (60 kms/ 4 Hrs approx). On reaching Cherrapunji visit Nohkalikai falls. Continue to Mawsmai caves. Arrival at the resort and check in. Dinner & overnight stay at Cherrapunji.

Day 4
Trek Double Decker Root Bridge
After breakfast, we drive to the village of Likensnew from where we undertake a trek to see the unique Double Decker root bridges. The trek passes through some verdant slopes, crisscrossed by streams. The trek is moderately difficult since one needs to descend 2500 feet into the valley and then climb up the same altitude again. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.

Day 5
Cherrapunji to Kaziranga
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kaziranga (330 kms/ 8.5 Hrs Approx). On arrival, check – in. Dinner and overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 6
Rendezvous with Wild & Nature
Wake up early in the morning for an elephant safari in the grasslands of Kaziranga. After breakfast, freshen up and proceed to visit the biodiversity park. In the afternoon, enjoy the jeep safari in the wilderness of Kaziranga. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 7
Kaziranga to Guwahati
After early breakfast, check out and transfer to the Guwahati airport (250 kms/ 6 hrs approx) to board the flight back home after a memorable and fun filled trip.

"We are all back from a wonderful holiday and but yet, I am not over with it. The hangover remains and I am sure this would remain in my soul lifelong.
The experience has been out of the world and this was my FIRST SOLO TRIP. I wasn't sure about the trip and how would the trip be managed and taken forward . Whether my decision in taking the trip with WOW was correct or wrong. I can proudly say that if I hadn't taken this decision I would have made the biggest mistake of my life and have had missed this wonderful experience which I would cherish throughout .

- All the Lunches on the trip.
- Optional excursions and activities.
- An additional transfer is required due to any emergency situation or arriving by flight that does not match with the majority of the group.
- Camera charges for Kaziranga National Park.

What does twin share price mean?
Twin share price is the price mentioned against a package and it refers to the cost per head for a double sharing accommodation. If you'd like to upgrade to Single Occupancy, please select this at the time of checkout -
Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
Do you offer a travel protection / insurance plan for purchase? Is it included in the cost?
Yes, we do offer a travel insurance which is included in the package cost. For travelers above 59 years and above, an additional amount will be charged. -
Can WOW book the flights for us?
Definitely! We routinely book and manage flights for our Wanderers. We recommend that travelers get their flights booked through us as this comes in handy when there are issues to do with cancellations or re-routings. -
