Day 1
Arrive in Leh
Arrive at Leh Airport and get transferred to the hotel where a traditional welcome awaits you with Khattaks, tea & coffee. Take full day rest to get acclimatized to the high altitude of 3,524 mts (11,561 ft). Lunch (at own expense) will be available at the hotel. Later in the evening, visit Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa, a two level structure with a golden Buddha and a story depicting birth of Buddha. We will have a welcome dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 2
In & around Leh
After breakfast, we will drive to Thiksey Monastery. Thiksey Gompa or Thiksey Monastery is affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located atop a hill in Thiksey village, approximately 19 km east of Leh in Ladakh. It is known for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet and is the largest gompa in central Ladakh. Afterwards, return to the hotel and prepare for dinner at a local Ladakhi house in Stok Village. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3
Leh to Nubra Valley
After an early breakfast, we’ll drive to Nubra Valley, which is 140 km from Leh. We will leave as early as possible so as to enjoy the morning drive via the world’s second-highest motorable pass, Khardung La at 5,359 mts (18,379 ft). By noon, we check in at the Nubra Valley camp and assemble for lunch. In the evening, we’ll visit Diskit Monastery which is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh. Also, visit the Sand Dunes at Hunder Village. You can take a ride on the double-humped Bactrian Camel (at your own expense). Return to the camp for dinner. Overnight stay at the camp in Nubra.

Day 4
Back to Leh
After breakfast, check out of the camp. You can opt for an ATV ride (at your own expense & time permitting) before we drive back to Leh; crossing Khardung La Pass again. Check-in at the Hotel in Leh. The evening is free for leisure and you can explore the local market and enjoy shopping. Dinner at the local market (at own expense) and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5
Leh - Pangong Tso
After an early breakfast, we’ll drive to Pangong Tso, which is 149 km from Leh, passing through Changla Pass, the third highest motorable pass in the world. Pangong Tso is situated at the height of 4,350 mts (14,271 ft) in the Changthang region of Leh district. The lake is 6-7 km at its widest point and over 130 km long. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. Lunch is provided in one of the campsites. Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

Day 6
Back to Leh
After breakfast drive back to Leh. En route, stop for lunch (at your own expense). On our way back, we visit the Hemis Monastery. Hemis Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Drukpa lineage, located in the Hemis region of Ladakh. Situated 45 kms from Leh, the monastery was re-established in 1672 by the Ladakhi king Sengge Namgyal. Later in the day, drive back to Leh hotel and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7
For The Adventure Junkies
After breakfast, we head to the Sangam (confluence of the Indus & Zanskar rivers) for white water rafting from Skorpochey to Nimoo on the Zanskar River. Post rafting, lunch at a local restaurant. Enroute, we will visit Magnetic Hill. We will also stop at the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib & the Hall of Fame (War Memorial). Return to the hotel and spend your evening at leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8
Departure from Leh
After morning tea and coffee, get transferred to Kushok Bakula Leh airport to board the flight back home.
