The Plan
Day 1
Arrive in Leh
Arrive at Leh Airport, there you will meet our representative and get transferred to the hotel where a traditional welcome awaits you with Khattaks, tea, coffee & breakfast. Take a full day rest to get acclimatized to the high altitude of 3,524 mts (11,561 ft). Lunch will be available at the hotel. Later in the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, a two level structure with a golden Buddha and a story depicting the birth of Buddha and Newly opened tourist Central Asian Museum. A fantastically curated and designed museum, has a picture gallery on the first floor, followed by artifacts, maps, etc. dating back to the 16th century. We will have a welcome dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh — make friends while travelling.
