Day 1
Welcome to Tashkent
We arrive at Tashkent International Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Proceed for lunch at the hotel. We begin our tour by visiting Tashkent panoramic city tour in the new part which includes: Independence Square, Memory Square, Broadway street which is filled with different souvenirs of portraits & local handicrafts as well as enjoy artist’s picture drawings. Later visit the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Complex and Temur Square. Transfer to the old part of city and visit to Hazrati Imam Complex and TV Tower and conclude the day tour with Memorial Complex of Repression (from outside). Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Tashkent.

Day 2
The Magical road to Samarkand
Post early breakfast, transfer to Tashkent Railway station to take Tash-Sam Afrasiyab bullet train. Samarkand is known as the jewel of Uzbekistan. The domes, towers, and magnificent building arches decorated with mosaic patterns are sparkling in the sun and drawing the eyes. Upon arrival, proceed for Samarkand city tour and visit Guri Emir Mausoleum, Registan square with 3 huge madrassahs: Ulughbek, Tillakori & Sherdar and also Afrasiyab Museum. We will take a break for some scrumptious local lunch and later continue the city tour: visit Ulughbek Observatory, Shah-i-Zindah complex & Bibi Khanum mosque (from outside) and conclude with a stopover at Siyab bazar for some shopping. Overnight stay in Samarkand.

Day 3
Samarkand-Shahrisabz-Bukhara
Today after early breakfast, transfer to Shahrisabz by comfortable coach. Shahrisabz is located in the north-eastern region of the Kashkadarya, 80 Km from Samarkand. The “green city” is known as the birthplace of Tamerlane. Arrival and visit AK Saray Palace and Amir Temur monument and continue to visit Dorussiadat Burial Complex as well as Doruttilavat Complex. Post lunch drive to Bukhara. Bukhara is one of the most ancient cities of Uzbekistan, situated on a sacred hill, the place where sacrifices were made by fire-worshippers in springtime. Check into the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Bukhara.

Day 4
The Holy City- Bukhara
After breakfast, we begin full day city tour of Bukhara. We start our sightseeing with a visit to the Samanids Mausoleum. The mausoleum is considered to be one of the most highly esteemed works of Central Asia architecture. Next, we visit Chashma Ayyub complex, Ark which is the Early residence of Bukhara Emirs and Boho Hauz Mosque which is famous for it’s stunning painted wood and carved columns. Then we will take a tea break at the biggest Bukhara carpet shop for carpet show. After lunch, we will visit Minorai Kalon, Masjidi Kalon and Madrassah Mir Arab (from outside) followed by old bazaars with domes on the way for buying traditional handicraft souvenirs. We conclude our tour with a visit to Lyabi Hauz complex which is the largest artificial reservoir of medieval Bukhara. Later enjoy the dinner with folklore show. Overnight stay in Bukhara.

Day 5
Bukhara to Khiva
After early breakfast we will drive to Khiva. It is one of the most noteworthy of the cities and towns of Central Asia. It is a unique monument town, completely preserved in the cultural style of the region. Khiva is now a quiet, sleepy oasis that awaits busloads of tourists instead of caravans of captives. Later check into the hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Khiva.

Day 6
Sightseeing in Khiva
After breakfast, we will check out and begin full day city tour in Ichan Qala- inner town of the old Khiva. Visit the Ichon Qala Gates & Walls, Mohammed Amin Khan Medressa-1850s, Kalta Minor minaret, Kukhna Ark, Mohamed Rakhim Khan Medressa, Sayid Alauddin Mausoleum & Music Museum, Juma Mosque which is quite interesting as it has 218 wooden columns supporting it’s roof. The few finely decorated columns are from 10th century mosque. After lunch (on your own account) continue the city tour by visiting Arabhana Medressa, Dost Alyam Medressa, Abdulla Khan Medressa, Aq Mosque, Anusha Khan baths, Alloquli Khan Medressa, Kutlimurodinok Medressa, Caravansarai, Tosh-Kholy Palace-1832, Islom-Huja Medressa, Pahlavon Mohammed Mausoleum & Sherghozi Khan Medressa and Dishon Qala. Later in the evening we will transfer to Urgench Domestic airport to board the flight to Tashkent. Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 7
Welcome to Fergana valley
After early breakfast, transfer to Tashkent railway station to take Tashkent-Kokand train. The parallel steep road which connects Fergana valley with the rest of Uzbekistan runs via pictureque mountain pass Kamchik. The first stop will be in the city of Kokand where we will visit the Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque, Kamol-kazy Madrasah and Norbut-biy Madrasah. After lunch (on own) continue driving to Fergana city. Upon arrival visit Akmad al- Fergani park. Later in evening, we will check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8
Fergana –Margilan- Rishtan
Post breakfast, drive to Margilan and visit Said Akhmad-Khoja Madrasah, it is a home to a number of craftsmen producing handmade carpets and silk. We will have a walk on Madrasah traditional market and continue to Yodgorlik silk factory to see the production process of silk with traditional Ikat patterns. Then we will drive to Rishtan, the house of well-known ceramic master Rustam usmanov whose works are exhibited on world exhibitions. There enjoy the pottery workshop and have a look at ceramic collection in a small museum. Continue to the house of craftsman Bakhram-aka to visit a traditional Kyrgyz family manufacturing wool carpets. After the sightseeing transfer to Margilan railway station to take tashkent train. Upon arrival, check in to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9
Shopping Tour and Departure
Have a leisurely breakfast, explore the town on your own before checking out at noon. After lunch (on your own account), proceed for the shopping tour which includes Alay bazar- the oriental market on the great silk road. This Bazaar is neatly organized, selling arrays of local produce where locals shop for their daily provisions and tourists shop for limited array of souvenirs and handicrafts. Later we will visit Samarkand Darvaza Mall or Mega planet Mall for some last minute shopping. Transfer to Tashkent International Airport and take a flight back to Delhi.

Regarding the hotels, what does OR SIMILAR refer to?
OR SIMILAR means that the hotel booked might be different from the hotel mentioned in the itinerary. 90% of the time we book the hotel that’s mentioned, but under few situations it might differ due to on-the-ground factors. So we pick an alternate hotel, but always in the same class and area of the city. -
What is the visa procedure for Uzbekistan
Visa for Uzbekistan is a group visa, the passports are submitted in the Embassy 2 weeks prior and it is received from the Embassy a day before the departure date. -
Do you offer a travel protection / insurance plan for purchase? Is it included in the cost?
Yes, we do offer a travel insurance which is included in the package cost. For travelers above 59 years and above, an additional amount will be charged. -
How hectic is my vacation going to be?
We do over 120 trips a year and while some are leisurely paced, others are of medium pace. Please check with the WOW Buddy of this trip for more details. -
What if I do not pay the full payment on time or miss my installment date?
We have attractive offers on our trips, but this is available on adhering to the payment schedule shown at the time of booking. If your full payment is not received by the due date as per the payment schedule, you would not be entitled to receive the benefit of WOW offers like super early bird or early bird. You will be charged the regular price when you make your final payment.
